Fresh Paint Care
The First 30 Days
Do not use a commercial car wash. Stiff brushes or sponges mar the finish and damage the surface. Wash the vehicle by hand with cool water and a very mild car wash solution. Be sure to use a soft cloth or sponge.
Do not “dry wipe” the vehicle-Always use clean water. Dry wiping could scratch the finish.
Do not scrape ice or snow from the surface. Your snow scraper can act like a paint scraper if the finish is new. Brush off the loose material with a soft snow brush.
The First 90 Days
Do not wax or polish the vehicle-this will allow the finish to dry and harden completely.
Do not use waxes or polishes containing silicone.

What is diminished value?

Diminished Value is the loss in a vehicle's value as a result of having been damaged. Depending upon the severity of sustained damages and the quality and thoroughness of the repair, a portion of its original value is restored; the extent of which must be determined by a recognized Diminished Value Expert. The remaining difference between the vehicle’s original pre-loss value and the restored value is considered the loss related Diminished Value or commonly referred to as “DV”.

If the frame of my vehicle is damaged, is it a total loss?

No. A vehicle is only deemed a total loss when the price of repairs exceeds the insurance company's determined value of your vehicle. Now, most cars are built using unibody (frame and body as one) construction. Our highly skilled technicians can return your vehicle to its original factory specifications. If it is determined that the frame section is bent beyond repair, that section can simply be replaced.

Will parts be ordered before I drop my vehicle off?

Yes. We typically order parts for your vehicle shortly after you schedule for repairs. If your vehicle is not safe to drive or undrivable we would order parts as soon as we had the approvals from both you & the insurance company.

What kind of options are available for parts?

There are 3 kinds of parts that can be used on a vehicle.
OEM: An original equipment manufacturer, or OEM, manufactures products or components that are purchased by another company and retailed under that purchasing company's brand name.[1] OEM refers to the company that originally manufactured the product. When referring to automotive parts, OEM designates a replacement part made by the manufacturer of the original part. Source: Wikipedia
Aftermarket: Aftermarket is the secondary market of the automotive industry, concerned with the manufacturing, remanufacturing, distribution, retailing, and installation of all vehicle parts, chemicals, tools, equipment and accessories for light and heavy vehicles, after the sale of the automobile by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to the consumer, which may or may not be manufactured by the original equipment manufacturer. Source: Wikipedia
Recycled: Also known as Salvage or used; are parts that are taken from a vehicle that is beyond it's useful life. The vehicle may be out of commission, but there are still many useful parts on these types of vehicles.
Most insurance policies will state what kind of parts can be used in the event of an accident. Those will be the parts that are searched for first. All parts are inspected for quality & fit.
If your insurance company requires the use of parts other than OEM, you do have the option of upgrading to OEM, but you would be responsible to pay the price difference between what the insurance company has authorized & the OEM price.

Cash, Master Card, Visa, Discover, American Express Money Order, Insurance Check and Certified Bank Check.
